Eversheds Africa Law Institute, setting standards for quality legal advice
Eversheds African Law Institute
EALI was launched in October 2013 as part of the new Eversheds’ Pan-African strategy. EALI is a network designed to share best practices and promote the highest standards of legal service across Africa. EALI is a unique entity in the region that allows the 38 member firms in 36 countries across Africa to access training and knowledge sharing programmes while fostering commercial opportunities on a regional and international basis.
The Eversheds African Law Institute will enable clients and contacts across the continent to keep abreast of legal developments through regular updates and provide unique access to new thinking and training on the African legal and business landscape.
This model will provide a means for the spread of best practices and further African laws developments. It will bring new thinking and training on African laws combined with strong commercial focus to accompany the growing demand from our clients within Africa.
This new and dynamic organisation will allow us to strengthen collaboration with our relationship firms in Africa, to set new standards of service across the continent and to bring the skills and drive of African firms to a wider international market.
The Eversheds African Law Institute will be headed by partner Boris Martor, head of the firm’s Africa Group based in Paris, supported by Julie Stobart, the firm’s client services director, with executive responsibilities in Eversheds for developing its African operations.
