Petr is a founding partner of Balcar Polanský Eversheds and managing partner of their Prague office. He specialises in commercial and corporate law, real estate and banking, and is recognised as an expert in banking and finance by 'European Legal Experts 2008'.

He advised CDV-1 and CDV-2, subsidiaries of Goldman Sachs, on their acquisition and subsequent administration of debt portfolios with a total worth exceeding €1 billion.

Petr focuses on the firm's German clients and is a court-certified interpreter for German. He is also registered as an arbitrator with the Arbitration Court of the Economic and Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic.

Petr is a member of the Czech Bar Association.
