Rob is Managing Partner of Eversheds Faasen in The Netherlands. With four other shareholders, he founded Faasen & Partners on 18 April 2002.
Rob advises Dutch and foreign clients on corporate and commercial law. The focus of his practice is on commercial contracts, acquisitions and joint ventures.
Rob's clients come from a wide range of industry sectors, including trading, food, utilities, facilities services and ICT. He advises them on M&A transactions, including MBOs, LBOs and controlled auctions. Deal structuring and due diligence investigations (for buyers and sellers) also come within his remit.
As well as advising on commercial transactions of all kinds, Rob is also a specialist in corporate governance. His clients in this field include both not-for-profit institutions and commercial enterprises.
He is a member of the supervisory board of Foundation De Meeuw Rotterdam and of the advisory board of Foundation World Port Sail Rotterdam.
