After finishing his legal studies, Matthias did his doctorate in corporate law at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. Matthias has been working in corporate law with Heisse Kursawe Eversheds since 1 December 1988. He made significant contributions to the establishment of the practice groups Corporate and Tax Law as well as the development of the practice group Capital Market Law since 1993. Furthermore, Matthias became Managing Partner of Heisse Kursawe Eversheds in 2006.

Dr. Matthias Heisse coordinated the counsel and the realization of various IPOs as well as important M&A transactions He accompanied numerous national and international company restructurings, financings and reorganizations. His clients include international conglomerates, listed companies as well as Private Equity companies and banks, which he counsels in all questions concerning corporate law. Moreover, Matthias supervises numerous general meetings of listed companies.
