Stephen is the head of Corporate in our Hong Kong office. He specialises in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He is admitted to practise law in the England and Wales and HK and speaks fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). He obtained Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

His recent experience includes:

  • Advising Xinjiang Xinxin Mining on its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE) raising HKD4.485 billion (sponsored by BOCI Asia);
  • Advising Merrill Lynch, UBS and BOCI Asia as underwriters on the listing of China Communications and Construction Group on HKSE raising USD2 billion; and
  • Advising Beijing Capital International Airport on its acquisition of Terminal No 3 from Capital Airports Holding Company for a consideration of RMB26.9 billion.

Stephen was individually recognised in "Capital Markets: Equity" by Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2008).
