Jaroslav is a founding partner of Balcar Polanský Eversheds and managing partner of their Bratislava and Prague offices. 

His expertise lies in international commercial law, arbitration and litigation. Jaroslav has received recognition in 'European Legal Experts 2008' as a leader in dispute resolution and corporate law/M&A. He has been involved in large privatisation transactions, for example the privatisation of Komercní banka, and has advised the forced administrators of two other large Czech banks. 

Jaroslav is a court-certified interpreter for English and German and is a registered arbitrator with the Arbitration Court of the Economic and Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic.

Jaroslav is a member of the Czech Bar Association.
