Introduction

Eversheds’ real estate finance group comprises almost 40 lawyers, made up of a balance of real estate lawyers and finance lawyers - all of whom are specialist real estate finance lawyers. The group advises borrowers and a wide range of private, high street and City of London banks and lending institutions.

In addition to basic secured lending transactions, the group is involved in drafting and negotiating complex syndicated loan facilities, revolving credit facilities, mortgage book acquisitions, refinancing of existing facilities, development finance and funding to the not-for-profit sectors such as education, social housing and charitable institutions. The group also has extensive experience of securitised conduit transactions and complex tax-driven funding structures.
