White Collar Club Raffle Night

We are one of the main corporate sponsors of the White Collar Club, which is the gay, lesbian and bisexual professional networking group in Leeds and Yorkshire. We recently provided financial support and donated prizes to a raffle night. Click here for more information.

Seren, Stonewall Cymru's Newsletter 2010

We have consistently provided support for Stonewall Cymru. The launch of the Stonewall Cymru's annual newsletter "Seren" took place in our Cardiff office, with our Senior Partner for our Cardiff Office offering a well-received welcoming speech. Please click here for further details. 

The Law Society Diversity and Inclusion Charter

We are one of the founding signatories of The Law Society Diversity Charter, and jointly sponsored its launch in July 2009.  The Charter aims to encourage FTSE 250 companies and equivalent public sector bodies to employ law firms that meet its diversity criteria.  Further information about the Charter is available on The Law Society website

Legal Sector Recruitment Alliance

Eversheds took the lead on the Legal Sector Recruitment Alliance, working with three major legal recruiters and 10 other law firms. The diversity monitoring form we created has been endorsed by The Law Society and the NGOs for the six diversity strands.  It has been posted on The Law Society website and all law firms are being encouraged to use it with their recruitment agencies. Minority Lawyers Conference

In April 2009 we sponsored the bi-annual Minority Lawyers Conference and hosted the pre-conference dinner and awards ceremony at our One Wood Street headquarters in London.  The theme for the day was "Diversity: Less Talk More Action".  The conference was organised by The Bar Council and hosted by The Law Society.
