Eversheds' intellectual property rights, IT and technology transfer team comprises over 50 specialist lawyers and acts for a diverse range of national and international clients. The team advises on issues such as patents, trade marks, copyright, designs and know-how. Team members include scientists from many disciplines including microbiology, biochemistry, medical biochemistry, industrial chemistry, pharmacology, immunology, physics, biology and environmental biology, biophysics, engineering, chemical engineering and computer science.

The China business group also has substantial experiences in IP and technology. Our patent and trade mark practice covers litigation, licensing, portfolio and strategy management. We also act in relation to copyright and confidential information. Our non-contentious work includes carrying out IP due diligence and negotiating IP clauses and agreements in corporate and commercial transactions. We have acted for and advised multinationals across various sectors such as chemical, telecom, natural resources, bio-medical, mobile entertainment, software, banking and finance.
