- At the first ever Green500 and Better Buildings Partnership awards, the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, presented us with a Platinum Green500 award for our new global headquarters in London, One Wood Street. We were one of the founding members of Green500, which is a carbon mentoring scheme that aims to recognise and acknowledge organisations that take action to reduce their CO2 emissions, targeting some of the biggest organisations in London. The primary focus of Green500 is to work with organisations with the greatest carbon saving potential, and collectively, these organisations are working together to reduce London's CO2 emissions by 1.5 million tonnes by March 2011.
These awards mean a great deal to us because they are voted for by our clients and those working within the sectors we advise. These include in-house counsel, general counsel and C-Suite executives.
