The project and infrastructure finance team is part of a consortium that has won the tender to advise the Greek Government on a schools project in Central Macedonia. A team led by Rebecca Carter is part of a consortium with Greek project consultants Kantor, local law firm Koutilides and PKF in the UK. As our first PPP appointment in Greece, this is an important win as there is a massive Greek PPP programme. The Greek Inter-Ministerial PPP Committee has very recently approved a huge new package of ten PPP projects, with a total estimated budget of €846m. This recent approval has increased the number of live social and government infrastructure PPP projects to 34 with a total estimated budget of €4 billion. Our client will be Greece's Organization of School Buildings (OSK) and the €116m PPP involves 31 school buildings in Thessaloniki, Kilkis, Serres, Himathia, Pella, Pieria and Chalkidiki.
