Equity capital markets and takeovers
How we have helped clients
Our equity capital markets ("ECM") group works with colleagues based in more than 45 locations across the world, including London, Munich, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Singapore and Shanghai. Our team has over 50 lawyers, including 15 partners who between them have advised on over 100 stock market fund raisings over the last 5 years.
Our ECM group provides the full range of services and strategic advice on the IPO and admission process as well as in relation to secondary fund raisings, takeovers (a partner in our group spent 2 years on secondment to the UK Takeover Panel) and other equity capital transactions.
We have experience in the London Stock Exchange's international AIM market investigations, advising both Nomads and AIM listed companies in AIM investigations. Our regulatory specialists have the experience and understanding of AIM investigations to guide clients through the process with minimal stress and disruption to the business.
We recognise that listings, takeovers and other ECM transactions are hugely important transactions for our clients; presenting a host of additional difficulties and extra duties, obligations and responsibilities.
Our approach is to work alongside our clients and their other advisers, operating in an efficient, cost effective manner. We do everything we can to ensure that transactions run as smoothly as possible. We negotiate the hurdles for our clients, minimising the demands on their time and any disruption to their businesses during the listing process.
